Nylon Accessory Cord
The Nylon Accessory Cords is an accessory cord made from polyamide (Nylon). The 7mm version is certified to UIAA 102 and EN 564. These multi-purpose lines and accessory ropes are perfect for almost all applications where a small static cord is needed.
Polyester Accessory Cord
The Polyester Accessory Cord is a low stretch, highly abrasion resistant accessory cord certified to UIAA 102 and EN 564. These multi-purpose lines and accessory ropes are perfect for almost all applications where a small static cord is needed.
Prusik Cord
Our Prusik Cord strikes the perfect balance between firm and supple. We engineered our Prusik Cord so that the rope has enough give to grip the climbing rope but is not so mushy that the knot locks up. This results in a smooth hitch cord that is perfect for prusiks and hitches.
Tech Cord
Tech Cord is an exceptionally strong cord made of a 100% Technora® core surrounded by a polyester sheath. This small diameter high strength rope is very abrasion resistant and is perfect as a cordelette rope, for balancing anchors, slinging chocks and hexes or as an emergency rappel line.
Ultra Cord
Ultra light, ultra small and ultra strong – a great cord for general use. The Ultracord’s high strength Dyneema® core gives additional strength even at smallest diameters. The 16 strand cover makes it abrasion and UV-resistant. This cord is your perfect companion for general use in climbing and backpacking.

Standards for accessory cords
MAXIM accessory cords are tested to recognized industry standards. Our 4mm through 8mm Polyester Accessory Cord and our 7mm Nylon Accessory Cords carry UIAA 102 and EN 564 certification.
