8mm Nylon Accessory Cords feature a kernmantle construction designed and engineered with the same attention to detail as Maxim's dynamic climbing ropes. Nylon Accessory Cords are a multi-purpose cord for stringing accessories, keeping personal items off the ground, tie-down ropes, for packs or other gear. Each diameter is available in complementary light and dark versions as well as black.

We offer rope sold by the foot as a convenient option for custom lengths. However, any rope ordered in lengths under 98 feet (30 meters) is not certified or rated for climbing or life-safety use. Once cut from its original factory-sealed coil, the rope no longer meets manufacturer certification standards.
Our pre-selected, factory-finished lengths remain fully certified (UIAA/EN) and rated for climbing, rescue, and other life-safety applications.
